Data privacy concerns and use of telehealth in the aged care context: An integrative review and research agenda

Summary: The effective use of telehealth services provides significant benefits to older persons and aged care providers. However, privacy concerns regarding data pose challenges to the utilization and value of telehealth services. This study conducted an integrative review to examine the relationship between privacy concerns, telehealth use, and aged care. The findings suggest that addressing privacy concerns and implementing privacy protection practices can enhance the acceptance and adoption of telehealth services for older persons.
