Predatory Conferences: What Are the Signs?

Summary: Predatory conferences, like predatory journals, are a growing concern in the academic world with many unanswered questions. Understanding the attributes of predatory conferences is important for researchers to make ethical decisions about conference attendance. A tool to distinguish predatory conferences from legitimate ones has been introduced in this study.
