Investigating environmental sustainability in small family-owned businesses: Integration of religiosity, ethical judgment, and theory of planned behavior

Summary: This study explores the environmental sustainability intentions of family-owned businesses in Fiji. It found that intrinsic and extrinsic religiosity positively influence the attitude of family-owned businesses, and that attitude and subjective norms positively influence environmental sustainability intention. Ethical judgment was also found to strengthen the positive relationship between attitude and subjective norms on environmental sustainability intentions.

Household food waste in rural China: A noteworthy reality and a systematic analysis

Summary: This study found that rural households in China waste an average of 1.67% of food per day, with greater food waste in economically developed areas. Factors such as cooking utensils, food preparation, religious beliefs, number and weight of family members, proportion of purchased grain in total food consumption, and total grain output are significantly related to rural household food waste.
