ScreenSeed as a novel high throughput seed germination phenotyping method

Nicolas Merieux et al.

Summary: The ScreenSeed technology is a high throughput phenotyping tool developed for seed germination, allowing characterization of seed samples' germination behavior with Arabidopsis thaliana seeds in 96-well microplates. This technology provides a fast and accurate procedure for handling thousands of seeds without compromising repeatability. Comparison with commonly used germination tests based on visual scoring shows very similar germination kinetics.
