Summary: This study aims to explore the influence of key decision-makers' internalized cultural values and perceptions of government regulations on entrepreneurial orientation (EO) of small- and medium-sized enterprises in Malaysia. The research findings demonstrate significant associations between cultural values such as individualism, masculinity, and uncertainty avoidance with EO, and suggest that positive effects of individualism and masculinity are strengthened with favorable perceptions of government regulations towards entrepreneurship.
