Effect of polyaniline content and protonating dopants on electroconductive composites

Katarzyna Bednarczyk et al.

Summary: Elastic constructive elements prepared by electrospinning using polyacrylonitrile/polyaniline (PAN/PANI) electroconductive composites were studied for their thermal and mechanical properties. Composites doped with sulfuric acid exhibited the highest conductivity, while composites doped with hydrochloric acid showed the highest thermal stability. All prepared composites showed good thermal stability, with T-5 values increasing with PANI content.

Enhanced Chemical and Electrochemical Stability of Polyaniline-Based Layer-by-Layer Films

Putri Bintang Dea Firda et al.

Summary: The study reports on enhancing the chemical and electrochemical stability of PANI through layer-by-layer assembly with different types of polyelectrolytes. A comparative study of three different PANI-based layer-by-layer films showed that the film growth of the LbL system depended on the acidic strength of the polyacids. All LbL films exhibited improved chemical and electrochemical stability compared to PANI films.
