Influence of socioeconomic status on objective sleep measurement: A systematic review and meta-analysis of actigraphy studies

Faustin Armel Etindele Sosso et al.

Summary: Social inequities, as indicated by socioeconomic status (SES), are associated with various negative sleep parameters, with lower SES linked to worse sleep quality. Additionally, higher education, perceived economic well-being, and income are correlated with improved sleep efficiency and duration. More high-quality studies are needed in this area to further explore the relationship between SES and sleep parameters.

The association between depressive symptoms and self-reported sleep difficulties among college students: Truth or reporting bias?

Zhiyong Huang et al.
