Multi-family therapy for eating disorders: A systematic scoping review of the quantitative and qualitative findings

Summary: Multi-family therapy (MFT) shows positive effects in improving eating disorder symptoms and some individual and family factors, although the results are somewhat mixed. MFT is generally considered a helpful and challenging treatment approach, and larger, higher-quality studies are needed to validate its efficacy.
