Retrospective analysis of predictive factors for lymph node metastasis in superficial esophageal squamous cell carcinoma

Summary: This study aimed to identify risk factors for lymph node metastasis in superficial esophageal squamous cell carcinoma and use them to construct a prediction model. Tumor size, invasion depth, differentiation, and lymphovascular invasion were found to be significantly correlated with lymph node metastasis. The nomogram developed in the study showed good predictive ability and clinical utility for determining the status of lymph node metastasis in patients.
