Switch type PANI/ZnO core-shell microwire heterojunction for UV photodetection

Yihan Chen et al.

Summary: In this study, single crystal ZnO microwires were prepared through chemical vapor deposition, and p-type conducting polyaniline polymers were coated on the surface to construct organic/inorganic heterojunction photodetectors. The devices exhibited high rectification ratio, strong response to UV radiation, and the ability to operate as self-powered photodetectors.

Ultrafast and Highly Stable Photodetectors Based on p-GeSe/n-ReSe2 Heterostructures

Amir Muhammad Afzal et al.

Summary: A unique two-dimensional transition-metal dichalcogenide vdWH photodetector was reported, capable of high-performance photodetection in the visible and near-infrared range with high rectification ratio and responsivity. The intralayer and interlayer transition of excitations enables broadband photoresponse with fast response times.

p-GeSe/n-ReS2 Heterojunction Rectifier Exhibiting A Fast Photoresponse with Ultra-High Frequency-Switching Applications

Ghulam Dastgeer et al.

Summary: This study presents a van der Waals heterostructure composed of n-ReS2 and p-GeSe, exhibiting high gate tunable rectification with a large rectification ratio without any Schottky contribution. The sharp interface between p-GeSe and n-ReS2 contributes to the high rectification ratio.

2D MoTe2/ReS2 van der Waals Heterostructure for High-Performance and Linear Polarization-Sensitive Photodetector

Jongtae Ahn et al.

Summary: In this study, a MoTe2/ReS2 heterostructure was proposed for a high performance photodiode with linearly polarized photodetection function. The optical properties and energy band diagram of this heterostructure were investigated through spectroscopy measurements, showing a rectification ratio of 10(4), a broad spectral response up to 1310 nm, a responsivity of 0.54 A/W, and rapid photoswitching with a cutoff frequency exceeding 100 kHz. Additionally, the photodiode demonstrated linear polarization dependent characteristics due to the asymmetric crystal structure of ReS2.
