However, the survival benefits of chemotherapy are limited in patients with goblet cell carcinoma, mixed neuroendocrine non-neuroendocrine neoplasms, neuroendocrine tumors, and carcinomas. Adequate lymph node sampling may result in a survival benefit for most patients.
