Excellent UV-Light Triggered Photocatalytic Performance of ZnO.SiO2 Nanocomposite for Water Pollutant Compound Methyl Orange Dye

Sunil Rohilla et al.

Summary: The photocatalytic activity of eco-friendly zinc oxide doped silica nanocomposites was investigated at different annealing temperatures, with the sample annealed at 300 degrees Celsius showing the highest photo-degradation ability. The degradation ability decreases with higher annealing temperatures, and there is a positive correlation between the degradation ability and the concentration of sodium hydroxide.

Variation of phytochemical composition of Lycium chinense leaves as an endemic high-value healthy resource

Lulu Yang et al.

Summary: This study investigated the variation in active compounds and nutrients of L. chinense leaves from different populations in different regions and seasons. Results showed significant differences in functional components among populations, with the SS population having the highest average contents. Certain components showed a correlation with geographic location, and mean annual temperature was the environmental factor most closely correlated with functional components. This study provides valuable information for the quality assessment and breeding of L. chinense germplasm resources.
