Clinicopathologic significance of MYD88 L265P mutation and expression of TLR4 and P-STAT3 in primary central nervous system diffuse large B-cell lymphomas

Summary: In PCNSL patients, alterations in TLR4/STAT3 pathway and MYD88 L265P mutation may serve as therapeutic targets. TLR4 expression was associated with multiple brain lesions, p-STAT3 expression was linked to age, multiple brain lesions, histological findings, and treatment response, while MYD88 L265P mutation was related to age, brain lesions, and DLBCL subtype. Elevated TLR4 and p-STAT3 levels indicated a poorer prognosis for PCNSL patients, suggesting a role for the TLR4/MYD88/STAT3 pathway in PCNSL pathogenesis.

The immune contexture of primary central nervous system diffuse large B cell lymphoma associates with patient survival and specific cell signaling
