Generalized Darboux transformation, solitonic interactions and bound states for a coupled fourth-order nonlinear Schrodinger system in a birefringent optical fiber

Meng Wang et al.

Summary: This study investigates the ultrashort optical pulses in a birefringent optical fiber through solving a coupled fourth-order nonlinear Schrödinger system. Soliton interactions, polarizations changes with beta value variations, and other nonlinear effects are analyzed and graphically displayed in the research.

Comment on Shallow water in an open sea or a wide channel: Auto-and non-auto-Backlund transformations with solitons for a generalized (2+1)-dimensional dispersive long-wave system

Xiao-Tian Gao et al.

Summary: The paper investigates a generalized (2 + 1)-dimensional dispersive long-wave system for nonlinear and dispersive long gravity waves in shallow water, deriving multiple similarity reductions using symbolic computation which each correspond to a known ordinary differential equation. The results are dependent on the constant coefficients in the original system.

Interaction solutions to nonlinear partial differential equations via Hirota bilinear forms: one-lump-multi-stripe and one-lump-multi-soliton types

Xing Lu et al.

Summary: Interaction solutions between lump and soliton in nonlinear partial differential equations are analyzed using Hirota bilinear forms. The one-lump-multi-stripe and one-lump-multi-soliton solutions can be generated from combined solutions, and necessary and sufficient conditions for the two types of interaction solutions are presented based on the associated bilinear equations. Applications are made for various (2+1)-dimensional equations.

Integrability characteristics of a novel (2+1)-dimensional nonlinear model: Painleve analysis, soliton solutions, Backlund transformation, Lax pair and infinitely many conservation laws

Xing Lu et al.

Summary: (English Summary:) The research investigates the integrability characteristics of the (2+1)-dimensional Kadomtsev-Petviashvili type equations, finding that the failure to pass the Painleve test is due to a non-vanishing compatibility condition at the highest resonance level. Soliton solutions and the N-soliton solution formula were derived and validated using the Hirota condition. The study also explores the criteria for the linear superposition principle and methods for generating resonant solutions, as well as deriving Backlund transformation, Lax pair, and infinitely many conservation laws through the Hirota bilinear method and Bell polynomial approach.

Derivation and simulation of the M-lump solutions to two (2+1)-dimensional nonlinear equations

Si-Jia Chen et al.

Summary: In this study, N-rational solutions to two (2+1)-dimensional nonlinear evolution equations were constructed using the long wave limit method, and M-lump solutions were derived by making certain parameters conjugate to each other. The properties of 1-, 2- and 3-lump solutions were presented and discussed, with focus on the unchanged amplitude and shape of the one lump wave during propagation. Analysis of the dynamic properties of collisions among multiple lump waves revealed the possibility of fusion and fission, with different paths followed based on parameters chosen. These results provide insights into nonlinear phenomena in optics, fluid dynamics, and plasma.

Symbolic computation on a (2+1)-dimensional generalized variable-coefficient Boiti-Leon-Pempinelli system for the water waves

Xin-Yi Gao et al.

Summary: This study examines a (2+1)-dimensional generalized variable coefficient Boiti-Leon-Pempinelli system for water waves, and constructs a set of hetero-Backlund transformations and similarity reductions through scaling transformations and symbolic computation. These link the original system to a known generalized variable-coefficient Burgers equation and an ordinary differential equation, respectively, depending on the variable coefficients in the original system.

Soliton solutions of nonlinear Boussinesq models using the exponential function technique

Shumaila Javeed et al.

Summary: This paper addresses the new analytical solutions of conformable nonlinear Boussinesq equations, focusing on obtaining explicit solutions using exponential function technique and conformable properties. The obtained solutions, especially for the space-time Boussinesq equation, are graphically presented and can assist engineers and physicists in analyzing phenomena. The technique implemented in this study is valuable for finding new analytical solutions of nonlinear partial differential equations (PDEs).
