Perceived professional competence in spiritual care and predictive role of spiritual intelligence in Iranian nursing students

Mehrnaz Ahmadi et al.

Summary: This study found a significant positive correlation between nursing students' competence in spiritual care and spiritual intelligence, with no significant differences in competence scores based on demographic characteristics. However, there were significant differences in spiritual intelligence scores based on age, marital status, history of clinical practice, and academic year. The regression model showed that with increased rates of spiritual intelligence, professional competence in spiritual care would rise accordingly.
