Manufacturing accuracy and volumetric changes of stereolithography additively manufactured zirconia with different porosities

Marta Revilla-Leon et al.

Summary: The aim of this study was to measure the manufacturing accuracy and volumetric changes of additive manufacturing zirconia specimens with different porosities. The results showed that the 40% porosity group achieved the highest manufacturing accuracy and the lowest volumetric changes, while the 0% porosity group had the lowest manufacturing accuracy and the highest volumetric changes.

Directly Printed Embedded Metal Mesh for Flexible Transparent Electrode via Liquid Substrate Electric-Field-Driven Jet

Zhenghao Li et al.

Summary: A facile and efficient method is proposed for the fabrication of flexible transparent electrodes (FTEs) with embedded metal meshes via liquid substrate electric-field-driven microscale 3D printing process. The FTEs produced using this method exhibit high-resolution, high-aspect ratio embedded metal meshes without sacrificing transparency. The final manufactured FTEs show excellent optoelectronic performance and mechanical stability.

A dynamic slicing algorithm for conformal additive manufacturing

Jigang Huang et al.

Summary: A novel strategy for multi-directional slicing is reported in this study, which is simple, accurate, and efficient. The slicing plane of each layer is determined directly, and the geometric relationship is used to evaluate the optimal slicing plane for each layer. A method for searching the optimal slicing plane with a cost-effective computation is also provided. The proposed dynamic slicing algorithm is compared with uniform-directional slicing to verify its performance.
