Inhalation and ingestion of Synthetic musks in pregnant women: In silico spontaneous abortion risk evaluation and control

Xixi Li et al.

Summary: This study aimed to reduce the abortion risk of Synthetic musks (SMs) by designing a supplementary diet plan and environmentally friendly SMs derivatives using molecular docking and 3D-QSAR models. The combination of vitamins in the diet plan reduced abortion risk for pregnant women. The new SMs derivative showed lower environmental impacts and improved functional properties compared to the precursor, demonstrating the effectiveness of the proposed theoretical circumvention strategy for abortion risk control.

An integrated network pharmacology and transcriptomic method to explore the mechanism of the total Rhizoma Coptidis alkaloids in improving diabetic nephropathy

Yaping Xiao et al.

Summary: This study confirmed the therapeutic effect of total Rhizoma Coptidis alkaloids on diabetic nephropathy and elucidated the molecular mechanism through network pharmacology and transcriptomic. Results showed that total Rhizoma Coptidis alkaloids significantly improved clinical indicators of diabetic nephropathy and exerted its effects by down-regulating the expression of related proteins in the AGEs-RAGE-TGF beta/Smad2 and PI3K-Akt signaling pathways.
