The Effects of Innovation Adoption and Social Factors between Sustainable Supply Chain Management Practices and Sustainable Firm Performance: A Moderated Mediation Model

Summary: The aim of this study was to develop higher-order scales for assessing sustainable supply chain management practices, innovation adoption, and sustainable firm performance in the restaurant sector. Three different higher-order scales were developed for assessing the SSCM, SFP and innovation adoption. The study tested the validity of these scales using pilot study, expert opinion, EFA, and CFA. The results showed that sustainable supply chain management practices positively impacted sustainable firm performance, with innovation adoption acting as a complete mediator.

Investigating the Mediating Relationship Between Sustainability Orientations and Sustainable Performance in the SME Context of Tunisia

Summary: The purpose of this study is to investigate the mediating role of corporate social responsibility (CSR) between managers' sustainability orientation and sustainable performance of SMEs in Tunisia. The results show that CSR mediates the relationship between managers' sustainability orientation and sustainability performance (except economic dimension). It is also found that owners' sustainability orientation positively influences CSR, and CSR positively affects social and environmental sustainable performance. However, there is no significant causal effect between CSR and economic sustainable performance.
