On optimizing a MODIS-based framework for in-season corn yield forecast

This study developed an optimized framework for forecasting corn yields in five US states, demonstrating that using EVI as a predictor outperformed other vegetation indices. Summary: The study aims to fill the gap in understanding the agronomic efficiency and environmental impact of digestate by evaluating its sustainability in comparison to mineral fertilizers in the agroecosystem of the Veneto Region. Results showed that liquid digestate fraction performed well and could be a substitute for mineral fertilizers, while solid digestate fraction showed lower performance and requires longer-term experiments to assess sustainability.
