Unsupervised Anomaly and Change Detection With Multivariate Gaussianization

Jose A. Padron-Hidalgo et al.

Summary: Anomaly detection is a challenging problem in remote sensing image processing due to the high dimensionality of the data. This article proposes an unsupervised method for detecting anomalies and changes in RS images using multivariate Gaussianization, which overcomes the limitations of traditional methods in handling large datasets.

Detection and Biomass Estimation of Phaeocystis globosa Blooms off Southern China From UAV-Based Hyperspectral Measurements

Xue Li et al.

Summary: In this study, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were used for the identification and quantification of Phaeocystis globosa blooms, a unique causative species of harmful algal blooms. The study successfully mapped the spatial extent and estimated the biomass of P. globosa using UAV measurements in two bays off southern China. The results showed promising potential for the detection and quantification of P. globosa blooms using UAV-based hyperspectral remote sensing.

A Spatial Correlation-Based Anomaly Detection Method for Subsurface Modeling

Wendi Liu et al.

Summary: The proposed spatial anomaly detection method integrates the semivariogram spatial continuity model and joint cumulative probability to identify anomalous data, and can assist in determining anomalous samples, regions, or facies transition boundaries by incorporating geological interpretations and domain expertise knowledge.
