Independent dispersed and highly water-oxygen environment stable FAPbBr3 QDs-polymer composite for down-conversion display films

Hanwen Zhu et al.

Summary: The study demonstrates a convenient method to obtain uniform, large-area, water-oxygen-resistant quantum dot-polymer composite films under white light emitting diode illumination. It was found that FAPbBr(3) QDs act as photo initiators, leading to improved stability of the material against water and oxygen by polymerizing organic monomers around the quantum dots. By optimizing viscosity through controlling reaction time, uniform, strong fluorescence, transparent, and stable white LEDs can be produced.
