Drug survival and predictor factors for discontinuation of methotrexate in psoriasis: a real-life multicenter study

Tugba Ozkok Akbulut et al.

Summary: This study evaluated drug survival for methotrexate (MTX) monotherapy in patients with plaque-type psoriasis. The average drug survival time was 15 months, with drug survival rates of 54.7%, 17.4%, and 8% after 1, 3, and 5 years, respectively. Adverse effects and ineffectiveness were the main reasons for drug discontinuation.

Biodegradable Hydrogels: Evaluation of Degradation as a Function of Synthesis Parameters and Environmental Conditions

Chiara Turioni et al.

Summary: This study describes biodegradable hydrogels made from cellulose, clay minerals, and humic acids, designed to protect, hydrate, and promote germination in soil. It also found that environmental factors in the soil play a more decisive role in the stability of these hydrogels than their synthesis parameters.
