Clinical Applications of Contrast-Enhanced Thoracic Ultrasound (CETUS) Compared to Standard Reference Tests: A Systematic Review

Niels Jacobsen et al.

Summary: This systematic review provides an overview of the clinical applications of contrast-enhanced thoracic ultrasound (CETUS) and evaluates the quality of relevant studies. The results indicate that CETUS has potential clinical applications, particularly in improving diagnostic accuracy in thoracic needle biopsy. However, there is heterogeneity and a high risk of bias in the current research on CETUS.
