Highly Reproducible and Sensitive Electrochemiluminescence Biosensors for HPV Detection Based on Bovine Serum Albumin Carrier Platforms and Hyperbranched Rolling Circle Amplification

Yinghao He et al.

Summary: In this study, a porous BSA layer was modified on the electrode surface, improving the distribution and orientation of self-assembled ssDNA probes, coupled with hyperbranched rolling circle amplification to develop a high-reproducibility-and-sensitivity ECL biosensor for human papillomavirus 16 E6 and E7 oncogene detection. The sensor showed a linear relationship between signal and target concentration, with a detection limit of 7.6 fM and improved reproducibility after BSA modification. The proposed ECL strategy offers a new method for constructing high-reproducibility-and-sensitivity ECL biosensors.

Discriminative intracellular and extracellular ATP detection based on magnetically controlled antimicrobial peptide

Yingwen Wang et al.

Summary: In this study, a novel impedimetric aptasensor was developed for the discriminative detection of intracellular and extracellular ATP, achieving improved sensitivity and selectivity through the use of antimicrobial peptide-functionalized magnetic particles. By introducing magnetically controlled M-AMPs into the detection system, mild and rapid bacterial disintegration was achieved for effective ATP detection. The proposed aptasensor exhibited excellent performance with a wide linear range and low detection limit, providing a convenient and label-free approach for discriminative intracellular and extracellular ATP detection in various bacterial samples and E. coli biofilms.
