Luminescent Zn (II) coordination polymers for highly selective detection of triethylamine, nitrobenzene and tetracycline in water systems

Lao-Bang Wang et al.

Summary: Two novel coordination polymers have been synthesized, which exhibit excellent luminescence characteristics and stability. They can be used for the detection of triethylamine, tetracycline, and nitrobenzene through fluorescence quenching. Furthermore, these polymers show excellent reproducibility.

Water-Stable Zn(II) Coordination Polymers Regulated by Polysubstituted Benzenes and Their Photocatalytic Performance toward Methylene Blue Degradation Dominated by Ligand-Field Effects

Yan Zhao et al.

Summary: The ligand field in coordination polymers plays a vital role in manipulating energy band structures and enhancing photocatalytic activity. By adjusting the donor surroundings around zinc ions and optimizing ligand-field geometries, variable band gaps and band potentials can be achieved, resulting in improved photodegradation activity towards organic dyes.

Summary: This study synthesized two new transition metal coordination polymers with antiferromagnetic coupling, and evaluated their application on non-small cell lung cancer while discussing the related mechanism. The compounds were tested for their viability on NSCLC cells and the expression levels of the ezh2 gene were detected after treatment.

Coordination polymers of 5-substituted 1,2,3,4-tetracyanocyclopentadienides: structural and electrochemical properties of complex compounds of 5-amino- and 5-nitro-tetracyanocyclopentadienide

Patrick R. Nimax et al.

Summary: Compounds of the 5 amino and 5 nitro 1,2,3,4 tetracyanocyclopentadienide ligand with iron(ii) and iron(iii), silver(i) and potassium(i) were synthesized and characterized using electrochemical methods and spectroscopy techniques. The study revealed free radical activity in transition metal compounds and signs of photoinduced electron transfer in compounds of the ligands. X-ray diffraction was used to characterize silver(i) and potassium compounds, with one structure showing a porous coordination polymer.
