Mesoporous molecular sieve-based materials for catalytic oxidation of VOC: A review

Preparation of Ce-MnOX/γ-Al2O3 by high gravity-assisted impregnation method for efficient catalytic ozonation

Summary: In this study, Ce-MnOX/gamma-Al2O3 catalyst was prepared for catalytic ozonation of nitrobenzene using optimization of preparation parameters, showing the best catalytic activity at a Ce/Mn molar ratio of 3:7, rotational speed of 1000 rpm, liquid flow rate of 80 L/h, and calcination temperature of 500 ℃. Through nitrobenzene removal and TOC removal analysis, the Ce-MnOX/gamma-Al2O3 catalyst exhibited superior catalytic activity for ozone decomposition.

Degradation of toluene in surface dielectric barrier discharge (SDBD) reactor with mesh electrode: Synergistic effect of UV and TiO2 deposited on electrode

Summary: Combining photo-catalysis and photo-catalyst, a SDBD reactor with a mesh electrode achieved high mineralization for toluene degradation. The synergy of TiO2 and UV irradiation significantly promoted the degradation efficiency of toluene, enhancing carbon balance and CO2 selectivity. The introduction of TiO2 and UV separately improved toluene degradation efficiency, and further enhancement was observed when both were applied simultaneously.

Nonthermal plasma catalysis enhances simultaneous removal of toluene and ozone over TiO2@ZIF-8

Effect of supports on plasma catalytic decomposition of toluene using in situ plasma DRIFTS

The reaction mechanism of toluene decomposition on different catalysts was proposed, with 1 wt%Mn/gamma-Al2O3 Able to catalyze toluene further into carbonate and bicarbonate.
