Thermal Transport in Radiative Nanofluids by Considering the Influence of Convective Heat Condition

Waqas Adnan et al.

Summary: The analysis of nanofluid dynamics in a bounded domain has gained significant attention from researchers, engineers, and industrialists due to its wide range of applications. By studying the effects of thermal radiations and surface convection, researchers found that the movement of nanofluids is slowed down by increasing the Cu fraction factor. Additionally, the introduction of thermal radiations and surface convection significantly increases the temperature of Cu-kerosene oil and Cu-water, while the behavior of shear stresses is inversely proportional to the primitive parameters, and the local Nusselt number increases with varying thermal radiations, Biot number, and fraction factor.

Recent advances on the fundamental physical phenomena behind stability, dynamic motion, thermophysical properties, heat transport, applications, and challenges of nanofluids

Zafar Said et al.

Summary: The rapid development of nanotechnology in the past decade has created numerous opportunities for researchers and engineers. Nanofluids, created by suspending nanoparticles in conventional heat transfer carriers, offer significant advantages in thermal properties. This study addresses the challenge of nanofluid stability and analyzes various forces and physical phenomena affecting the stability. Stable and highly conductive nanofluids can be produced through one-step or two-step production methods, but both methods face the problem of nanoparticle agglomeration.

4S consideration (synthesis, sonication, surfactant, stability) for the thermal conductivity of CeO2 with MWCNT and water based hybrid nanofluid: An experimental assessment

Arun Kumar Tiwari et al.

Summary: This study investigated the impact of nanofluid stabilization techniques on CeO2+MWCNT/water based hybrid nanofluid, identifying the optimal surfactant to nanoparticle mixing ratio, pH level, and sonication time for long-term stability. Results indicated a strong correlation between the hybrid stabilization approach and thermal conductivity, with higher surfactant ratios causing slight reductions in thermal conductivity. Additionally, the surfactant's effect on surface tension and a correlation to predict thermal conductivity values were also studied for potential heat transfer applications.

Melting heat transportation in radiative flow of nanomaterials with irreversibility analysis

Sohail A. Khan et al.

Summary: The melting phenomenon of phase change materials is mainly accompanied by changes in thermal heat density. Energy created from various sources can be stored in the form of latent heat combinations during the melting process. Microencapsulated phase change slurry offers advantages in high energy density and narrow temperature range for different heat energy applications. Scientists and engineers are interested in heat transportation during melting processes due to its applications in industrial processes. The study investigates the irreversibility in MHD convection flow of viscous liquid with melting effects over a stretched surface, considering slip condition and Lorentz force behaviors and developing an energy expression through dissipation, heat radiation, and Joule heating.
