Scalar and tensor resonances in J/ψ radiative decays

A. Rodas et al.

Summary: We conducted a systematic analysis of the J/psi -> gamma pi(0)pi(0) and -> gamma(KSKS0)-K-0 partial waves measured by BESIII. By using a large set of amplitude parametrizations, we reduced the model bias. We determined the physical properties of seven scalar and tensor resonances in the mass range of 1-2.5 GeV. Among them, the well-known f(0)(1500) and f(0)(1710) are considered to be the primary candidates for glueballs, with the latter having the largest glueball component according to the hierarchy of resonance couplings determined from this analysis.

Singlet-octet-glueball mixing of scalar mesons

E. Klempt et al.

Summary: The mixing angles between scalar isoscalar resonances and a scalar glueball are determined from their decays into two pseudoscalar mesons. Results show that a small glueball component is admitted by some scalar isoscalar resonances, while significant glueball fractions are required for other resonances. The summation of all observed glueball fractions yields approximately 78%.

Revisiting the determining fraction of glueball component in f0 mesons via radiative decays of J/ψ

Xing-Dao Guo et al.

Summary: This paper discusses the possibility of glueball components in f(0) mesons predicted by QCD theory and attempts to determine the percentage of these components through measured mass spectra and branching ratios of J/psi radiative decays into f(0) mesons.

Scalar isoscalar mesons and the scalar glueball from radiative J/ψ decays

A. V. Sarantsev et al.

Summary: A coupled-channel analysis of BESIII data on radiative J/psi decays into pi pi, K (K) over bar, eta eta and omega phi was performed to determine the ten isoscalar scalar mesons. The masses, widths, and decay modes of these mesons were determined and interpreted as mainly SU(3)-singlet and mainly octet states. Octet isoscalar scalar states were observed with significant yields only in the 1500-2100MeV mass region.

Glueballs as the Ithaca of meson spectroscopy From simple theory to challenging detection

Felipe J. Llanes-Estrada

Summary: This review focuses on theoretical efforts to identify gluonium configurations among ordinary mesons below 3 GeV, suggesting that f(0)(1710) may have the largest glueball component among scalars, although no single observable is conclusive. Further tests and investigations are needed to distinguish pseudoscalar or tensor glueball candidates.

Dispersive analysis of glueball masses

Hsiang-nan Li

Summary: An inverse matrix method is developed to solve resonance masses from a dispersion relation obeyed by a correlation function. The nonperturbative spectral density obtained exhibits resonance structures naturally. The analysis reveals characteristics of different glueballs and proposes a mixing framework including gluonium components for certain mesons.

Meson and glueball spectroscopy within the graviton soft wall model

Matteo Rinaldi et al.

Summary: The graviton soft wall (GSW) model provides a unified description of the spectra of scalar glueballs and mesons, accurately reproducing the masses of various spins' odd and even ground states of glueballs, as well as the spectra of rho, a(1), and eta mesons. This achievement is obtained without any additional parameters, indicating a strong predictive power.
