Mulberrin confers protection against hepatic fibrosis by Trim31/Nrf2 signaling

Chenxu Ge et al.

Summary: In this study, Mul administration was found to significantly ameliorate liver injury and dysfunction induced by CCl4 in mice. The underlying mechanisms involve the suppression of TGF-beta 1/SMAD2/3 signaling pathway and NF-kappa B signaling, as well as the activation of TRIM31 and Nrf2 pathways. These findings provide a novel therapeutic strategy for hepatic fibrosis treatment.

Protection against Doxorubicin-Related Cardiotoxicity by Jaceosidin Involves the Sirt1 Signaling Pathway

Yuzhou Liu et al.

Summary: The study demonstrated that jaceosidin attenuated doxorubicin-induced cardiotoxicity by reducing free radical generation, inflammation accumulation, and cell loss in cardiomyocytes, improving cardiac function. The protective effect of jaceosidin was mediated by activation of the Sirt1 signaling pathway.
