Realizing Generalized Brewster Effect by Generalized Kerker Effect

Summary: A design principle has been proposed to achieve the generalized Brewster effect using the generalized Kerker effect, and an adjustable metallic meta-surface has been experimentally designed in the microwave band. This principle allows for easy modulation of incident angles and frequencies, and the validation of the GKE has been shown by achieving the GBE for two different polarized incident waves at the same frequency and angle.

Ultra-Wide-Angle Bandpass Frequency Selective Surface

Summary: A novel theory is proposed for designing a bandpass frequency-selective surface with stable angular response. The performance is closely related to the permittivity and permeability components, and high-efficiency transmission response with angular independence is achieved. A prototype of the tunable ultrawide-angle bandpass FSS is fabricated and measured, showing satisfying agreement with predicted results.
