Summary: Circular RNAs (circRNAs) are a novel class of RNAs, and their aberrant expression is implicated in various human diseases, including gastric cancer (GC). In this study, circRNA_0043691 was found to be upregulated in GC tissue, and its knockdown decreased cell viability, migration, and invasion in GC cells. Furthermore, CircRNA_0043691 positively regulated GART expression by sponging miR-873-3p, delaying the progression of GC.
