Summary: In this study, the expression of HAS2-AS1 was found to be associated with ER-positive and ER-negative tumors in breast cancer, and elevated expression of HAS2-AS1 was correlated with higher survival rate in ER-negative tumors. Experimental results demonstrated that HAS2-AS1 could regulate the aggressiveness of breast cancer cells, but it was independent of the regulation of HAS2 and HA deposition.
