Zeolitic imidazolate frameworks (ZIFs) are a sub-group of MOFs that have thermal stability and pore-size tunability. Synthesis and Characterization of GO/ZIF-67 Nanocomposite: Investigation of Catalytic Activity for the Determination of Epinine in the Presence of Dobutamine

Summary: In this study, graphene oxide/ZIF-67 nanocomposites were prepared and used as a modifier on a screen-printed electrode to study the electrochemical behavior of epinine. The GO/ZIF-67/SPE exhibited higher electrocatalytic activities compared to the bare electrode and successfully detected epinine and dobutamine.

Electrochemical Sensor Based on ZnFe2O4/RGO Nanocomposite for Ultrasensitive Detection of Hydrazine in Real Samples

Summary: In this study, a highly sensitive ZnFe2O4/reduced graphene oxide (ZnFe2O4/RGO) nanocomposite was developed for electrochemical detection of hydrazine using a simple hydrothermal protocol. The screen-printed electrode (SPE) modified with the ZnFe2O4/RGO nanocomposite showed excellent electrocatalytic activity for hydrazine oxidation and selective determination of micromolar hydrazine concentrations. Differential pulse voltammetry exhibited a broad linear dynamic range and low detection limit for hydrazine detection.

Co-detection of carmoisine and tartrazine by carbon paste electrode modified with ionic liquid and MoO3/WO3 nanocomposite

Summary: A carbon paste electrode modified with ionic liquid and MoO3/WO3 nanocomposite was developed for co-detection of tartrazine and carmoisine using differential pulse voltammetry. The method exhibited improved electrochemical behaviors and high peak separation for the two compounds. The sensor showed good stability, selectivity, and successful detection of the compounds in real fruit specimens.

Simultaneous detection of carmoisine and tartrazine in food samples using GO-Fe3O4-PAMAM and ionic liquid based electrochemical sensor

Summary: This study developed a new voltammetric sensor based on graphene oxide-Fe3O4 nanocomposite functionalized with fourth-generation poly(amidoamine) dendrimers and ionic liquid modified carbon paste electrode for the simultaneous detection of carmoisine and tartrazine in food samples. The sensor exhibited good electrocatalytic function and a linear response range, making it suitable for the determination of carmoisine and tartrazine in food samples.

Amplified electrochemical sensor employing screen-printed electrode modified with Ni-ZIF-67 nanocomposite for high sensitive analysis of Sudan I in present bisphenol A

Summary: This study synthesized Ni-ZIF-67 nanocomposite using a facile method and demonstrated its application as a durable sensor for detecting Sudan I and bisphenol A. The results showed that the electrochemical response of the sensor was significantly increased compared to a bare electrode and had a low detection limit.

Synthesis of Fe3O4@copper(II) imidazolate nanoparticles: Catalytic activity of modified graphite screen printed electrode for the determination of levodopa in presence of melatonin

Summary: This work presents a simple method for synthesizing Fe3O4@copper(II) imidazolate nanoparticles and characterizes them using various techniques. A sensor modified with these nanoparticles successfully detected levodopa, showing improved electrochemical response compared to unmodified electrode. The modified electrode also demonstrated stability and repeatability in detecting levodopa in spiked human urine and melatonin tablet samples.
