Sensitive simultaneous determination of catechol and hydroquinone based on iron and nitrogen doped carbon nanonets derived from MOFs

Summary: In this study, a leaf-shaped iron-doped metal-organic framework (MOF) was synthesized and carbonized to obtain iron and nitrogen doped carbon nanonets with a unique three-dimensional network structure (Fe,N-CNs). A robust combination of dysprosium vanadate/halloysite nanotubes: the electrochemical system for dimetridazole detection

Summary: This study presents an electrochemical sensor based on a dysprosium vanadate/halloysite nanotubes (DyV/HNTs) nanocomposite for the detection of Dimetridazole (DMD). The DyV/HNTs nanocomposite exhibits a higher electrocatalytic response to the reduction of DMD compared to other electrodes. The sensor has two linear ranges for DMD detection and a low detection limit. It also demonstrates excellent selectivity, stability, repeatability, and reproducibility. The sensor is successfully applied for the reliable discrimination of DMD in biological and water samples.

Electrochemical Behavior of Three-Dimensional Cobalt Manganate with Flowerlike Structures for Effective Roxarsone Sensing

Summary: This study synthesized three-dimensional CoMn2O4 with a petal-free, flowerlike structure for electrochemical sensing of roxarsone (RXS), demonstrating superior performance with wide linear range, low detection limit, and high sensitivity. The CoMn2O4-modified electrodes displayed remarkable electro-catalytic performance attributed to excellent physical properties, such as good conductivity, hybrid architectures, high specific surface area, and rapid electron transportation. The proposed electrochemical sensor exhibited excellent selectivity, stability, and reproducibility, with satisfactory recovery values for RXS detection in river water samples.

Metal-Free, Graphene Oxide-Based Tunable Soliton and Plasmon Engineering for Biosensing Applications

Experimental validation of the platform's superiority in achieving a low detection limit of human IFN-gamma was conducted, along with significant fluorescence emission enhancements on a lossless substrate using various nanoparticles, paving the way for unique light-matter interactions for next-generation plasmonic and biomedical technologies.

Synergistic coupling of titanium carbonitride nanocubes and graphene oxide for 800-fold fluorescence enhancements on smartphone based surface plasmon-coupled emission platform

Revealing the effect of multidimensional ZnO@CNTs/RGO composite for enhanced electrochemical detection of flufenamic acid

Summary: The rational design of heteroarchitecture-based ultrasonic approaches provides great opportunities for enhancing electrocatalytic properties in electrochemical reactions. Specifically, the synthesis of flower-like ZnO superstructures on multiwalled carbon nanotubes (CNTs)/reduced graphene oxide (RGO) composite using an ultrasonic bath has shown promising results. The resulting ZnO@CNTs/RGO composite exhibits excellent electrocatalytic performance for detecting the nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug, flufenamic acid (FFA), highlighting the positive synergistic effect among ZnO, CNTs, and RGO in the composite.

Furthermore, these multifunctional sorets have been successfully utilized for mobile phone-based detection of environmentally relevant Cu2+ ions and dye degradation for environmental remediation.
