Design and evaluation of a miniature milk quality detection system based on UV/Vis spectroscopy

Biao Yang et al.

Summary: A miniature milk quality detection system based on UV/Vis spectroscopy was designed in this study. Models for predicting concentrations of fat, protein, lactose, and total solids in milk were established using partial least squares regression algorithm. The accuracy of the system was validated with additional milk samples, showing high accuracy and improved performance with homogenization.
