Single-entity Ti3C2Tx MXene electro-oxidation

Pranati Nayak et al.

Summary: We quantified the inherent electro-oxidation behavior of a single Ti(3)C(2)T(x)MXene particle using Single-Entity Electrochemistry. MXene undergoes irreversible oxidation at potentials greater than 0.3 V (vs. SCE), and the extent of oxidation is dependent on the applied potential. A close correlation is observed with ensembles of drop-cast particles with submonolayer coverage.

Electrochemical kinetics as a function of transition metal dichalcogenide thickness

Marc Brunet Cabre et al.

Summary: This study investigates how the thickness of transition metal dichalcogenides affects the electrochemical response, finding that the response can be described using an electron tunneling barrier related to the material's band gap.

The steady-state diffusional flux to isolated square cuboids in solution and supported on an inert substrate

Rachel Wong et al.

Summary: Numerical simulation is used to analyze the diffusional flux of square cuboid particles in solution, either isolated or supported on a substrate. The flux is expressed as that to a sphere with an 'effective' radius, which depends on the particle shape, size, and support.

Single Particle Nanoelectrochemistry Reveals the Catalytic Oxygen Evolution Reaction Activity of Co3O4 Nanocubes

Thomas Quast et al.

Summary: Co3O4 nanocubes were evaluated for their intrinsic electrocatalytic activity towards the oxygen evolution reaction using single-entity electrochemistry techniques. The study showed high efficiency and stability in OER, with combining multiple electrochemical methods allowing for in-depth analysis on the structure-activity relationship of individual nanoparticles.
