Novel methodology for identification and quantification of microplastics in biological samples

The use of acetonitrile for digestion of cellulosic membranes was found to prevent loss of particles and promote good dispersion of MPs. Micronucleus and different nuclear abnormalities in wild birds in the Cerrado, Brazil
