Determination of clenbuterol at trace levels in raw gelatin powder and jellies using ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography coupled to triple quadrupole mass spectrometry

Benjamin Velasco-Bejarano et al.

Summary: A method for identifying and quantifying traces of clenbuterol in gelatin and jellies was successfully developed and validated in this study, showing high sensitivity, good selectivity, and short chromatographic run time. The results indicated that 57.4% of gelatin samples contained clenbuterol.

Simultaneous enantioseparation and simulation studies of atenolol, metoprolol and propranolol on Chiralpak® IG column using supercritical fluid chromatography

Pranav A. Pandya et al.

Summary: In this study, enantioseparation of three beta-blockers was studied using supercritical fluid chromatography on an immobilized chiral stationary phase. By optimizing the conditions and ratios, high resolution and separation were achieved. Thermodynamic data and molecular docking studies provided insights into the separation mechanisms and elution behavior of the enantiomers.
