Crystallinity and photocatalytic properties of BiVO4/halloysite nanotubes hybrid catalysts for sunlight-driven decomposition of dyes from aqueous solution

Enhanced photodegradation of acid orange 61 by the novel hetero-junction CoFe2O4/AgCl

Summary: Novel flower-like Bi5O7I/Bi4Ti3O12 (BOI/BTO) photocatalysts were successfully designed and fabricated using an in situ growth method, showing excellent performance for the selective oxidation of benzylic alcohols under visible light, especially achieving high selectivity for the oxidation of 4-methylbenzyl alcohol to 4-methyl-benzaldehyde. The Z-scheme transfer mechanism facilitates efficient separation of photogenerated carriers, enhancing the photocatalytic process for benzylic alcohols.

Synthesis and photocatalytic properties of magnetically separable and recyclable p-n heterojunction CoFe2O4/Bi12O17Cl2 photocatalyst
