Construction of Zn/Ni Bimetallic Organic Framework Derived ZnO/NiO Heterostructure with Superior N-Propanol Sensing Performance

Highly Sensitive and Selective HCHO Sensor Based on Co Doped ZnO Hollow Microspheres Activated by UV Light

Co-doping increased the electron density of ZnO, promoted oxygen adsorption, and enhanced the separation efficiency of photogenerated charge. The sensor exhibited a high response of 111.6, a detection limit of 100 ppb, and excellent reproducibility and selectivity.

Summary: A facile method was employed to synthesize pure and PdO-loaded double-shell ZnSnO3 hollow microspheres, whose structure and morphology were characterized. The gas sensor based on PdO-loaded double-shell ZnSnO3 hollow microspheres exhibited excellent sensing performance towards n-propanol, with high response, rapid response and recovery speed, repeatability, and long-term stability, attributed to the unique double-shell structure and the catalytic and sensing effect of PdO.
