Summary: Photothermal therapy (PTT) has become a promising therapy in cancer treatment due to its noninvasiveness, high selectivity, and favorable compliance. However, tumor thermotolerance and metastasis limit its efficacy. In this study, a chidamide-loaded magnetic polypyrrole nanocomposite (CMPP) was developed to overcome these challenges. CMPP showed favorable photothermal effects and higher cytotoxicity compared to PTT in tumor cell lines. In vivo, CMPP achieved cure level in melanoma-bearing mice by preventing metastasis and thermotolerance.
