Brain Activity Response to Visual Cues for Gait Impairment in Parkinson's Disease: An EEG Study

Samuel Stuart et al.

Summary: This study used mobile EEG to measure brain activity in response to visual cues during walking in PD patients, finding that visual cues altered brain activity patterns, especially in FOG patients. Changes in brain activity during walking were related to gait improvements, with FOG patients requiring more visual attention processing for similar gait improvements.
