Sensitive and selective detection of Hg2 + in tap and canal water via self-enhanced ECL aptasensor based on NH2-Ru@SiO2-NGQDs

Summary: In this study, a novel self-enhanced electrochemiluminescence (ECL) aptasensor was developed for sensitive and selective detection of Hg2+, utilizing a self-enhanced ECL composite with high and stable luminous efficiency. By employing a Hg2+ aptamer bridging NH2-Ru@SiO2-NGQDs and a glass carbon electrode, linearly enhanced ECL signals were obtained in the range of 5.0 x 10(-11) M to 1.0 x 10(-6) M, showing excellent selectivity, repeatability, and stability in 3 minutes. The aptasensor demonstrated satisfactory accuracy and practicability for Hg2+ analysis in tap and canal water, verified by ICP-MS.

Lignin-mediated green synthesis of functionalized gold nanoparticles via pulsed laser technique for selective colorimetric detection of lead ions in aqueous media
