Evaluation of strength parameters of ultra-fine flyash and nanosilica incorporated High-Performance Concrete

Summary: The study investigates the effects of ultra-fine fly ash (UFA) and nanosilica on the strength properties of High-Performance Concrete (HPC). The best results were obtained with a water-to-binder ratio of 0.30, 10% UFA, and 3.0% nanosilica, showing significant strength improvements at 7, 28, and 90 days.

Evaluation of performance parameters of cement mortar in semi-flexible pavement using rubber powder and nano silica additives

Summary: The study found that 0.5% to 1% NS can prevent fluidity loss and increase drying shrinkage in the matrix. Three of the best performing mortars were evaluated, with the optimum mixture being NS1-RP5 containing 1% NS and 5% RP. This mixture exhibited the best performance and mechanical properties with an elastic modulus loss of about 20%.
