N-halamine modified ceria nanoparticles: Antibacterial response and accelerated wound healing application via a 3D printed scaffold

Summary: In this study, a novel three-dimensional printed dressing with significant antibacterial activity and biocompatibility was fabricated using gelatin methacryloyl (GelMA) and a photocrosslinking technique, with CeO2/N-halamine hybrid nanoparticles playing a key role in antibacterial effects. The dressing exhibited excellent swelling efficiency and blood-clotting ability, and in vivo experiments showed that it efficiently accelerated wound closure by promoting tissue regeneration.

Functional Hydrogels as Wound Dressing to Enhance Wound Healing
