Summary: By introducing ZIF-derived nanoarrays to the surface of carbon fibers through in-situ synthesis and thermal annealing, modified carbon fibers with hierarchical nanostructure were obtained. The resulting CoNC@CF-PLA composites displayed excellent electromagnetic wave absorption capabilities and favorable 3D printability. The introduction of CoNC@CF not only enhanced the mechanical properties of 3D printing PLA parts, but also improved the microwave absorption of the nanocomposites.

Design of core-shell structure NC@MoS2 hierarchical nanotubes as high-performance electromagnetic wave absorber

Broadband electromagnetic absorbing performance by constructing alternate gradient structure (AGS) for PMMA-based foams

Summary: Using one-step physical constraint foaming technology, PMMA-based composites with CNTs sheets were alternately arranged to fabricate foam with alternate gradient structure (AGS), and the influence of AGS on the electromagnetic waves absorbing (EMA) properties of the foam was studied. The experimental results showed that, compared to normal single-layer foam, foam with AGS exhibited a broader absorbing bandwidth and lower minimum reflection loss, attributed to improved impedance matching, multi-reflection of electromagnetic waves, and enhanced energy dissipation capability provided by AGS.

MOF-derived yolk-shell Co@ZnO/Ni@NC nanocage: Structure control and electromagnetic wave absorption performance

Summary: Reasonable control of the composition and structure of porous nanomaterials is essential for improving its electromagnetic wave absorption performance. The heterogeneous trimetal Co@ZnO/Ni@NC nanocage prepared in this study shows excellent absorption performance with an effective absorption bandwidth of 12.6 GHz. The synergistic effect of the three metal components and the hollow structure optimization contribute to enhancing the absorbing performance of the nanocage.
