In Situ Synthesized 2D Covalent Organic Framework Nanosheets Induce Growth of High-Quality Perovskite Film for Efficient and Stable Solar Cells

Jun He et al.

Summary: This study demonstrates that the in-situ synthesis of 2D covalent organic framework (2D COF) nanosheets can effectively regulate the crystallization process of perovskite in organic metal halide perovskite solar cells (PSCs). The presence of 2D COF nanosheets decelerates intermolecular interdiffusion, induces perovskite crystals to grow along specific planes, and reduces defect density around grain boundaries, leading to improved carrier transportation and high efficiency. The champion PSC device achieved a power conversion efficiency of 22.04% and exhibited outstanding long-term stability.

Tailoring Phase Purity in the 2D/3D Perovskite Heterostructures Using Lattice Mismatch

Min Xiong et al.

Summary: This study demonstrates the importance of lattice mismatch derived from halide and cation differences in the fabrication of 2D/3D halide perovskite heterostructures. By avoiding the formation of unintended 2D phases, the resulting heterojunction exhibits improved efficiency and stability in perovskite solar cells.
