Quality of Life Using General Population Validated Questionnaires in Children With Cleft Lip and/or Palate in New Zealand

Summary: The study found that children with cleft lip and/or palate in New Zealand generally have good levels of quality of life, with limited impact based on cleft phenotype but significant effects on parents and families. Quality of life improved overall with age, particularly in physical and cognitive functioning, as well as in the ability to participate in family activities.
