This study employs the handbag approach based on Generalized Parton Distribution (GPDs) factorization to analyze exclusive pi(0) electroproduction. It considers the leading-twist contribution and transversity effects, finding that the transversity GPDs H-T and E(T) are crucial in describing the pi(0) cross section. Predictions are provided for the energy range of the future Electron-Ion Collider of China (EicC), showing that the observed transversity dominance at low energies remains valid up to the EicC energy range.
Exclusive pi(0 )electroproduction is analyzed within the handbag approach based on Generalized Parton Distribution (GPDs) factorization.
