Exclusive p0 production at EIC of China within handbag approach

This study employs the handbag approach based on Generalized Parton Distribution (GPDs) factorization to analyze exclusive pi(0) electroproduction. It considers the leading-twist contribution and transversity effects, finding that the transversity GPDs H-T and E(T) are crucial in describing the pi(0) cross section. Predictions are provided for the energy range of the future Electron-Ion Collider of China (EicC), showing that the observed transversity dominance at low energies remains valid up to the EicC energy range.
Exclusive pi(0 )electroproduction is analyzed within the handbag approach based on Generalized Parton Distribution (GPDs) factorization. We consider the leading-twist contribution together with the transversity effects. It is shown that the transversity GPDs H-T and E(T )are essential in the description of the pi(0 )cross section. Predictions for the future Electron-Ion Collider of China (EicC) energy range are provided. It is found that transversity dominance , observed at low energies, is valid up to the EicC energy range.
