Summary: A pH and redox dual-responsive drug delivery system (CDs-Pt(iv)-PEG) was developed based on fluorescence carbon dots, which showed comparable cytotoxicity to cancer cells as cisplatin while reducing side effects on normal cells. This system has the potential for effective delivery of anticancer drugs and screening of cancer cells through high-contrast fluorescent imaging.
